We’ve been having a delicious time in the Online Art Group with artist Sara Dudman. Ahead of each session Sara has been sharing seasonal produce as a starting point for exploring exciting new mark making techniques. So far we’ve been experimenting with hand cut frottage, ways of seeing and drawing, using different types of ink and sticks inspired by Van Gogh – all through the unexpected winter staples of curly kale and the humble potato!

The sessions have been so much fun and interactive – and we’re all looking at our fruit and veg in a very different way now! We’re also sharing our favourite recipes using the featured seasonal produce, so once we’ve analysed our beautiful veg nothing goes to waste.
