For our first Online Art Group session of 2025, artist Gemma Dunnell helped us to break through the January haze with the joyful practice of creative journaling. We worked together to create spreads in our handmade sketchbooks inspired by experiences, trips, or even just a walk we have been on.

With no pressure to produce anything ‘perfect’ and using easily accessible materials like pencils and pens, creating these illustrated pages helps us look at ways we can record and interpret our experiences in a playful way, to document and capture moments that may otherwise pass us by or indeed become lost in the past.
