We’re delighted to once again welcome Sara Dudman back to the Online Art Group for a new batch of sessions to guide us into Spring 2024. Sara’s sessions often have a seasonal twist to help keep us connected to nature and this time we’re finding joy and beauty in winter florals with beautiful Cyclamens and Hellebores! As ever Sara challenged us to find new ways of seeing through our approach to shape, space and tone.

As we moved into the second session Sara challenged us even further by asking us to allow our paintings to evolve rather than working towards an idea of a completed artwork – what would happen if the goal was to leave things un-finished? Do we approach the process differently? How can we respond when the painting dictates the next steps to US, rather than the other way around?
