We’ve continued to embrace beautiful summer produce as our inspiration to explore more advanced mark marking techniques and materials over in the Online Art Group with Sara Dudman. 

We transported ourselves to idyllic Mediterranean islands to kick of July with the sumptuous shapes and tones of fresh Greek Salads, building layers and depth with coloured pencils and watercolour paint.

We moved onto dessert in the next session with beautiful summer berries; exploring the new and different effects that acrylic paint can give when used in combination with drawn lines and collage.

It’s so exciting to see our group members begin to find confidence in the materials and gestures we’ve been learning over this year, sharing work that really expresses the guidance from Sara but executed in their own creative, personal styles.
